Worth the Wait

I remember attending a meeting of our local IMBA chapter, Weatherford Mountain Bike Club, in 2017 when I was introduced to the Remtech pedal concept and asked to help crowdfund the early development of these pedals. I was intrigued enough to throw $20 into the project. Got to see some prototypes in the wild and was pretty sold on the idea. Fast forward to 2022 and I FINALLY got my hands on a pair. What a sweet upgrade for me, having been a disciple of flat pedals! There is a noticeable improvement in technical climbing for me, and I haven’t lost a pedal in mid-flight on the downs yet so there’s that. If you ever wanted to try clipless but have that psychological issue with being able to bail from the bike quickly and easily like me, then these pedals are a fantastic solution.
